In my role as an Employment Broker, it was my responsibility to manage a caseload of Stream A, job ready clients, and assist them in the process into employment. My role required me to build and manage effective relationships with employers, including cold canvassing for potential business and advocating on the behalf of job seekers to secure and maintain employment. In a customer focussed environment, it was important to be able to establish rapport and to manage conflict effectively, whilst also assisting customers employment prospects by conducting initial appointments, face to face work preparation training and assisting in the resume writing process.
