Blake is tasked with reforming the AZCC's visual creative collateral. Through content and reworked branding, Blake is ensuring that the Commission meets its mission of "Powering Arizona's Future" by providing entrepreneurs, security traders and utility customers with a robust, functional and modern presence. Blake also assists the communication team in various projects such as copy editing, email campaigns, video services and social media development.

Blake was a freelance writer and multimedia journalist for AZ Food & Wine. Among his tasks, he writes stories and takes photos of some of Arizona's best restaurants and bars.

Blake serves as the point person for the Institute’s presence on the web and social media platforms. As a member of the communications team, he also assists in the production of traditional outreach tools, including publications, videos and photos, with an aim to broaden the Institute’s audience and reach. He also lends his technical expertise to a variety of other needs throughout the Institute.

He sets up and operates audio visual equipment for events ranging from corporate seminars and receptions to weddings and birthdays at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay. He also interacts personally with clients to help them achieve their event goals.

He helped students check out and understand equipment that is available to them at the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism at Arizona State University. He also networked with the students that will become my peers as he enters his career in visual mediums. He also taught himself on all of the equipment available to the students, which is some of the best for any journalism school in the nation.

He aggregated weekly updates of every story relating to trade between the US and China for all of my assigned websites. Blake also wrote for the site, speaking with analysts and experts in order to do stories on the monumental relationship between the United States and China.

He developed and worked on a daily market show posted to the Forbes.com website called Market Blaster. He shot and edited the shows everyday along with help produce the content for each show. Writing stories for the site took of some of his time there. He also edited posts that went up on the website daily. This stressed the issue of deadlines as videos had to be put out everyday at five o'clock. This internship greatly furthered his knowledge in investing and business.
