At Lanard I was the Director of USA operations heading up the California based Design Studio. Our products were manufactured in China, shipped and sold globally to major retailers such as Wal-Mart, Tesco, and Target. It’s not all fun and games, but hard work, requiring strategic planning with attention to every intricate detail. But, who am I kidding… it’s a lot of fun too!My degree is in Industrial Design, which Is a mix of ART, SCIENCE, ENGINEERING and PSYCHOLOGY. I manage and direct the full spectrum of development from invention, design, and prototyping, to graphics, branding, marketing, and sales. Lastly my work takes me on frequent travels to and from Asia where I meet with factories and deal with production, conduct sales meetings pitching and selling to big box retailers.
