With over 15 years of professional experience as an Army Officer and Defense Acquisition Professional, I have had the good fortune of experiencing an array of challenging positions throughout many diverse organizations. The linchpin throughout those experiences has always been the team - without exception, I have always been surrounded by people who are overwhelmingly responsible for any measure of success in my career. The increasing technical sophistication of the various munitions in the Army's inventory, along with the rapid expenditures of ammunition across the force, requires officers to be closely involved in managing the precious ammunition commodity that the Army uses and trusts these officers to provide for the fight.
