I am a driven individual that wants to continue to pursue a career in education with hope of eventually earning my doctorate. Currently I have my bachelors degree in Secondary Education Mathematics, after teaching for a year I plan to go back to school to receive my masters in Educational Leadership. During my undergraduate career, at McDaniel College, I was very busy getting involved. I served as the president of the environment action student organization, Green Life, where I focused on leading students complete leadership projects. My leadership projects goal is to educate faculty and students about the importance of conserving energy where I created a day that departments are rewarded for keeping their lights off. Leadership development is one of my largest passions where I continue to get involved in leadership activities as well as I used to set up a leadership retreats for Green Life. I participated in LeaderShape, a internationally known leadership development program, were I completed many intense workshops. I also served, as the only secondary undergraduate, on the Education Review board that reviews the effectiveness of the college education preparedness programs.
