I have lived about two-thirds of my life in Guatemala, where I engaged with organizations that uphold Mayan traditions. The other third of my life has been spent in the U.S., living in Ohio, Maryland, and Kentucky.Currently, I am a sophomore chemical engineering student at the University of Kentucky, actively involved in various organizations within the College of Engineering. I serve as the Personal Relationships and Marketing Chair for the Engineering Student Council, where I promote events and provide resources to fellow engineering students.Additionally, I am a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, participating in the Chem-E-Car team, which competes in regional and national events with small cars powered by chemical reactions.I am passionate about new energy sources, especially nuclear fusion, and am committed to advancing this field as it holds the potential to provide sustainable energy for the future.
