As a designer at Vistry Group, I apply my engineering knowledge and understanding of DFMA & lean principles to create innovative and efficient designs for panelised timber modular construction projects. I collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, such as architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure the design specifications meet the quality, safety, and sustainability standards, as well as the project budget and timeline.I have over half a century of experience in the construction sector, working on projects utilising categories 1, 2 & 3 of modular construction, industry standard CNC machines, and DFMA & lean principles. Previously, I was a senior design engineer at Lighthouse, where I led the design and delivery of multiple volumetric modular residential & commercial projects, achieving high customer satisfaction and industry recognition. Before that, I was a timber frame designer at Countryside, where I produced and managed designs for closed panel timber frames in an automated production line factory. I hold a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Liverpool John Moores University.
