I direct the technical aspects of Heron Finance, which is the first SEC registered robo advisor to be built on the blockchain.

Goldfinch is on a huge mission to expand access to capital by creating a single global debt market. As the first employee, I worked directly with the CTO to design, build, and scale the entire application from 75 patients to 300k, from 2 engineers to 10, and was there from a small seed to a $10M Series A.- Built robust and reliable payment and financial accounting code that now handles $150M+/ year in transaction volume.- Deployed core features like invoicing, dunning, pricing rules engines, notifications, and more.Launched Hint’s webhook system, pushing 2M+ events through 2018 to partner network, including large companies like LabCorp.- Built and documented our public REST API, consumed by 20+ healthcare companies, handling 2.5M+ requests/month.- Improved developer speed and reduced errors by leading a large refactor and data migration of widely used legacy code.

I built a custom skinned interactive video player, similar in functionality to Udacity or Coursera. It allows teachers to upload YouTube content, and embed quizzes, short answers, time marks, and other functions into the video's timeline. I worked with Versal's SDK and built it with Backbone.js, Require.js, and the YouTube API.

I started an in-person music lessons business from scratch. Founded in 2011, we won Austin Family Magainze's Favorite Place to Learn Music in 2012. While building it out, I also created a better music notation system (www.hummingbirdnotation.com) that's received tens of thousands of downloads, and makes it vastly easier to read music. We also built and tested an iPad app for learning music.

I played, taught, wrote, mixed and produced music for my living.

I played, wrote, recorded, and performed music as a serious hobby (and side profession), booking many weddings, parties, etc. as well as writing and playing for the Penn Jazz Combos, and for Satellite Heights (www.myspace.com/satelliteheights), and working in a recording studio for a summer. Basically I did what I do now, just on the side.

Worked with Philadelphia area small businesses to help them grow and improve. Selected experience: -Poured over data for a struggling dance company to help them understand where and why they were losing money. Then interviewed real customers to help them change their pricing and payment plans to be more attractive, and stay profitable. -Did cost accounting for a tea cafe, helping them better understand the true costs of each area of their business. -Created pitch decks for a lumber tech company as they prepared to get investors.
