I was the General Manager and Deputy CEO of the National Health Co-op, Australia’s largest health cooperative that is delivering significant social and economic benefits through increasing access to bulk-billed primary health care services to the communities where it operates. The National Health Co-op is a fully community owned and professionally operated Canberra non-profit community organisation. Members pay a low annual fee which gives access to bulk billed medical appointments and other health services with the doctor of their choice.The National Health Co-op is committed to the provision of affordable primary health care services to all communities where it operates with the overarching goal of significantly reducing instances of preventable diseases and lessening the personal and societal impact of chronic conditions.There are enormous long-lasting social and economic benefits through the realisation of the NHC’s objectives. The NHC is well positioned to achieve its objectives and change the delivery of primary health services in Australia. The strong growth of the National Health Co-op to date is a testament to the existing communities support for our model.Prior to joining the NHC's executive team, I was a Non-executive Director and the Board's Deputy Chairperson.

During my transition from a Non-executive Director into the organisation's senior management, I held an Executive Director position. This crossover period allowed the Board to broadened its membership and skillset. Prior to becoming an Executive Director, I served as a non-executive director and the Board's Deputy Chairperson. During my tenure, I have worked to formalise the Board’s governance and strategy development roles including creation of the NHC’s current strategic plan. Over the last few years, the Board and I have worked to mature the NHC from a small, and largely volunteer based charity, into a multi-million dollar professionally operated enterprise. The NHC is now the largest provider of primary health care services in the Canberra region and is actively delivering a national expansion agenda.

Waterways Plus, Trading as go2zone , is a fully owned subsidiary of Healthy Land and Water, a not-for-profit enterprise that is working to improve the sustainable use of land and waterways in South-East Queensland. go2zone was formed to address the increasing problem of single-use plastic bottles entering our waterways. The company produces and markets water refill stations. At Austrade, I was responsible for overseeing the global branding, positioning and promotion of Australia’s international education sector - Australia’s largest service export valued at almost $20bn annually.This role included leading the development and implementation of the Australian Government’s strategic communication and engagement strategy and oversighting all campaigns and outreach communications including, online, eDMs and social media. I was also responsible for the continued development of the Council of Australian Governments endorsed StudyInAustralia.gov.au website which markets the benefits of Australian education in 38 languages.My role in Austrade also saw me oversee the production and development of the Australian Government’s Market Information Package (MIP) that provides strategic market intelligence to paid subscribers. The MIP is one of the Australian Government’s highest cost recovery products and is subscribed to by over 95 per cent of the Australian education sector.

I was responsible for the delivery of the National Resources Sector Workforce Strategy. This was a sector wide plan to address the skills and labour needs of the resources sector to manage the impact of the $1trillion investment boom. The Strategy assisted the resources sector to meet its increasing demand for skilled labour, maintain national momentum on addressing skills shortages, and contributed to the development of Australia’s productive capacity. I have previously managed the $500 million Teaching and Learning Capital Fund for Vocational Education and Training and the integration of the $500 million Australian Technical Colleges program into the broader Australian Training effort.

I Co-founded Greck Technologies, a technology sales and service business focusing on custom designed computers and IT infrastructure for personal and commercial clients.

I worked for Pure and Natural Beverages as the Regional Manager for the Canberra and Country NSW. During my time in this role I was responsible managing the daily operations of a high-pressure and fast-paced multi-million dollar business. This included: setting and meeting budgets; building client relationships, negotiating terms of trade, supply contracts, business forecasting and stock control.
