I come to the world of computer science from a previous career in automotive electronics. My 12-volt experience, combined with my studies at the University of California, Riverside, has equipped me with a diverse skill-set that includes technical know-how in the fields of computer science/engineering and excellent communication skills, both in writing and in presentation formats.I am the type of person who loves knowing how things work and making things work better. Sure, sometimes this means I am up until sunrise digging through documentation, schematics, reference manuals, and an endless rabbit hole of links, but I always learn from the experience: I learn how to take something apart and rebuild it; I learn to make something new that solves whatever problem I faced; or I learn that I should know better next time and avoid tinkering with it, whatever it is.Though my current life finds me dabbling in coding languages, I still know far more about the world of CAN and automotive ECUs than any normal person would ever need.And, if you've read through all of that and are dying to know, I prefer spaces and vim.
