Taking my hats with me!During my tenure as Executive Director & General Counsel for the Dade County Police Benevolent Association, our dynamic team worked in close collaboration to identify issues, find solutions, and make it the most successful labor organization in the state of Florida. From advising the President; representing the PBA in collective bargaining, government, business and civic meetings and dealings; serving as spokesperson; developing and coordinating public service announcements & commercials; fundraising; co-hosting a weekly radio show, covering a broad range of topics and issues, where guests included government officials, corporate business partners, and award winning entertainers; supervising a staff of twenty employees, seven in-house attorneys and numerous associate law firms; running the day to day core office operations; representing members in arbitrations, labor/management meetings, grievances, and administrative statements; to drafting and enacting numerous pieces of legislation affecting all first responders, my experience has prepared me for almost anything!
