About Blanca Lesmes

Over the past two decades in healthcare, I have witnessed the industry slowly adopt technology that other industries have used for years. Whether it be telemedicine implementation, the latest in medical device, or cloud-based ultrasound services, my goal is to improve patient outcomes through increased access.As Co-founder and CEO of BB Imaging, I have worked to create relationships with providers across the U.S. I have led the company from start-up to the largest independently owned provider of high-risk obstetrical ultrasounds. This year we introduced a new technology-based platform to the market called TeleScan. My hope is that we can get more comfortable with leveraging technology it to address the pitiful maternal mortality stats in our country.My objective is to make prenatal healthcare more accessible by bringing screening closer to prenatal patients. We can reduce maternal mortality. I believe it's a matter of prioritization and it's at the top of my list. It's a bold goal, but we have the right team, the right tech, and the guts to do it.
