Blanca Scott is a goal –driven, highly motivated Administrative Assistant/Office Manager who brings over 20 years of diversified office administration experience in the private sector, community organizations and government.Her varied and bicultural, bilingual background, combined with her attentiveness to the needs around her, her positive attitude, flexibility and adaptability to the different work settings, make Blanca a compassionate, proactive, reliable and effective problem solver with impeccable customer service skills.Blanca is passionate about helping others and in particular the Hispanic community and has used every opportunity that has come her way to put her skills and talent to assist those in need whether it be a work setting or providing volunteer work.Prior to her arrival to the US Blanca worked for the Mexican Government as an Administrative Assistant to the Minister of Health in her native Mexico City, assisting communication between the minister's office and the President of Mexico. She served as the Liaison between the ministry’s office and the World Health Organization and the Pan-American Health Association, among other responsibilities.Blanca worked as a Scholarship Coordinator for IBM Mexico, Mexico City, being in charge of selection of candidates from universities and coordination of curriculum, and assisting also their Human Resources department in selection of new employees, in addition to positions in the private sector including several years in both a Security Services company and also an Accounting Office.Upon immigrating to the US Blanca constantly sought volunteer opportunities that provided her with extensive knowledge of how to work with the different needs of the community, and all the while helping others have also allowed her to improve her English and continue to develop her organizational and managerial skills.
