I provide clinical services and in-service training as needed.

In this quasi-private practice it was an honor to provide psychotherapy and psychological consultation primarily to adults with cancer and other life-changing diseases. Most of my work is via telehealth.

Member of the Forensic Evaluation Oversight Panel for the Commonwealth of Virginia's Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (continuing into 2019).

By combining extensive training and experience in psychology, a deeply felt understanding of the enneagram and spiritual pathways, deep familiarity with the 12 Step philosophy, and gentle intuition, I offered guidance on individuals' psycho-spiritual life journeys through the private practice of which I was manager and CEO. Additionally, I performed consultation with physicians and others in the community, psychological assessments, psychotherapy for mental health issues, and mind-body treatments such as EMDR, TFT, and EFT.

Building upon my love of the physical book and my studies in library science, I scouted for new and used books (sometimes having the good fortune to find rare ones) and offered them for sale on Biblio.com, Amazon.com, Half.com, and eBay.com.

My work spanned many areas, the most intensive of which were trauma reduction for combat veterans and survivors of sexual abuse, treatment of substance abusers, and training and investigation regarding sexual harrassment.

I edited literary works and professional journal articles for authors submitting their writing for publication or other forms of production, resulting in a high acceptance rate.

I administered full psychological evaluations for children and adolescents in residence, then consulted with childcare staff about the children's individual psychological needs so that their care was sensitively and practically tailored.

This not-for-profit human service agency, now re-named Liberty Resources, developed and administered community-based programs to meet the needs of underserved groups (seriously mentally ill adults, victims of rape and domestic violence, children at risk of out-of-home placement, etc.). I oversaw development, management, clinical relevance, and quality assurance of all the programs and provided in-house and state-wide training.

I mentored writers as they prepared their peer-reviewed papers for publication and provided technical editing for most of the journal's articles.

Hutchings Psychiatric Center is a forward-looking public psychiatric hospital in downtown Syracuse, NY; the psychology internship provided intensive training and experience within that environment and in rural Madison County's affiliated mental health center.
