Reporting to the Group General Counsel, I took leadership of the entire commercial arm of the global legal team (as opposed to the corporate and compliance arm of the team) advising the wider organisation and the Executive Group Management on material global commercial matters. Reporting to the Group General Counsel, I acted as the lead negotiator for the ISS Group’s global customer relation-ships and in parallel was regionally responsible for the largest region in ISS.Key Responsibilities:• Lead negotiator on global customer relationships and subject matter expert on complex commercial models to ensure continued profitability and balance in changing long-term customer relationships.• Responsible for the Europe region representing about half of the total ISS Group turnover, e.g. managing com-plex fraud and compliance matters, policy role out and holding board positions in multiple subsidiaries.Key Achievements:• Negotiated a significant part of ISS’s global customer deals in the banking, pharma, manufacturing and telecoms industries and led complex international dispute processes.• Designed and negotiated complex incentive-driven commercial models, which became the heart of some of the Group’s largest deals ensuring continued profitability in changing macro and customer environments.• The above established me as ISS’s expert on international negotiations, complex commercial models and leading deal closings.• Advised the deal team, the Executive Group Management and the Board on the largest ever facility management deal in the history of ISS.• Mapped ISS’s corporate structure following years of acquisitions of more than 600 companies to drive a process of corporate structure simplification.
