My duties included backup/recovery, upgrades and installation of SQL Server software, database administration and optimization, database standard refresh, license maintenance, report building, maintenance, and administration, and troubleshooting of databases and related applications I look forward to new challenges.

I had managed more than 8 SQL Server instances which contained well over 200 databases. I was in charge of backups, data refreshes, high-availability environments as well as ETL development and maintenance.I was also in charge of 3 Progress instances and 5 Oracle 10g and 11g instances.My main tasks were to integrate and optimize applications that were either third party or "home grown".I was in charge of licensing compliance as well as implementing best practices, development standards, patching standards, and implementation standards for SQL Server.I really enjoyed my time at Hormel Foods.
