I am currently a Supply Chain Management student at SAIT Polytechnic, and will get my diploma in April 2016. I then will go on to earn the Supply Chain Management degree, graduating in April of 2018. Before attending SAIT, I did a year at each Mount Royal University and the University of Lethbridge. I have worked at Eagle Lake Nurseries during the four summer months for three summers, starting in summer of 2011, and will work there again this summer. I work there as wholesale shipping staff in the greenhouse. Doing this job I am able to, among other things, prioritize orders effectively, manage my time well, and develop customer relationships. Working at Eagle Lake also has given me an opportunity to continually learn; which is a perk that i enjoy about this job.I also worked as a nanny for a family for one year, from August 2013 to July 2014. I looked after a four year old girl with some medical issues, and her older brother in the morning and evenings after school. This was a very rewarding job and I found I had a lot of personal growth and learning during this year. A few skills this job encouraged me to develop was self discipline, time management, negotiation, and creative thinking.
