Blayne Ross is a creative entrepreneur, passionate about design and the environment and his career has been about influence since its start. He began his career in the entertainment industry in 2001 and found a home working on the Emmy nominated HBO series Six Feet Under at the Greenblatt Janollari Studio. Blayne quickly became a Creative Executive in Original Programming for the Showtime Network, supervising "hit" series such as The L Word and Queer As Folk and helping develop the critically acclaimed, Peabody award-winning political drama Brotherhood. Embracing his love of design and inspired physical environments, Blayne left Los Angeles for New York City founding a Design-Build shop The Argyle Group and later founding Kaid that has completed work on surgical centers, private residences, developed luxury lifestyle properties and renovated some of Manhattan’s largest residential buildings. In 2013 he founded his first large-scale community project, City Beach NYC a non-profit project to bring a pop up floating beach to New York during the summer months. Ultimately CBNYC did not move forward. Currently, a major focus is the introduction and launch of ShoreLock, a sustainable solution to beach erosion. Developed as an environmentally friendly addition to current techniques, ShoreLock aims to protect the coastline and marine habitats by reducing the frequency of coastal dredging. Based in Miami, Florida, ShoreLock has successful pilots through out the Caribbean and Bahamas. A triathlete, Blayne currently resides in Miami, Fl with a B.A in Advertising from the University of Florida and a Business Administration Concentration.
