Blayne St. James attended The University of Alabama where he earned a Degree in Commerce and Business Administration, majoring in Small Company Management with a concentration in entrepreneurship. After college, Blayne travelled the world extensively for two years. It wasn’t until he returned to America that he truly began to appreciate the beauty and all the recreational opportunities the West had to offer. As a skier, fisherman and avid hunter, Blayne was drawn to the Colorado resort town of Crested Butte, the most beautiful and charming place he’d seen to date. It was there that he owned and operated a successful real estate brokerage for nearly a decade, thus giving him a keen insight to resort and recreational real estate.While living in the mountains, Blayne became more focused on hunting, and some of his accolades include numerous big game hunting awards, corporate sponsorships as well as multiple published articles on his hunting successes. He has hunted all over North America and has a passion for high country, do-it-yourself, backpack hunts. Blayne is currently a life member of the following hunting organizations: Safari Club International, Safari Club Global Bowhunting Chapter, Pope & Young Club and Rocky Mountain Bighorn Society. Other memberships include Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation, Colorado Bowhunter’s Association, Mule Deer Foundation and Dallas Safari Club.
