I started at TFAP as the intern, where I learned the business side of running a pay-to-play aerial adventure park. I assisted in the revision of the local operating procedures, with the implementation of new rules, as well as devising and creating marketing materials for the park. As a facilitator at the park, I facilitate the proper operation of the park by staff and guests. I inspect equipment and courses, as well as perform maintenance on the courses as needed. I teach guests how to properly enjoy the adventure experience and assist them if they need help when they are in the trees. I am certified in lowers and act accordingly in times of emergency.

The College of Science and Technology holds various events every year, from Phi Eta Sigma to major-specific events, to showcases and research symposiums at Timberlake Biological Field Station. Under the tutelage of the dean's Administrative Coordinator, I assist with the planning and executing of events. I help with events for the dean, and also assist various professors in COST when there is time and need.

I participate and work in all four of the areas within Outdoor Pursuits, under Campus Recreation. I work in the rock wall, teaching and assisting students climb. I am the manager of the Check-Out Center, where we provide adventure equipment that students can rent. I developed and implemented the inspection process for the COC, and monitor the success of the inventory and inspection. I am on Leadership Team, and therefore go on and lead the Adventure Trips, where we take students and teach them the various activities provided on that trip. I assist our Coordinator choose, plan, and reserve each of our Adventure Trips, as well as with the paperwork for our bigger events, such as the Texan Top Out. I am also a Level 2 CCP under ACCT, and act as the CCM on Tarleton's Challenge Course when the coordinator is not available.

With Cross Trails Ministry, my job was to oversee and facilitate the daily operations of the challenge course. In doing so I devised lesson plans for each individual group of campers and molded the learning experiences into a unique low element program for each group. The facilities owned by Cross Trails Ministry were vast, and therefore I facilitated the zipline, giant swing, wild woozy, incline log, cargo net, and climbing wall, as well as other obstacles and courses across their various locations. In addition to my challenge course duties, I also assisted with Support Staff duties, such as cleaning, programming, and All-Camp activities.

I assisted in the instruction of the Climbing merit badge on natural cliff faces, I worked with a certified facilitator and assisted with the Challenging Outdoor Personal Experience (COPE), which included challenge course activities. Additionally, I helped facilitate the new 1600 ft double, gravity stop zipline.
