Sara Sharpe holds Educational Specialist & Master's Degrees from the University of Kentucky in School Psychology. During her time at Kentucky she held a Research Assistantship at the Human Development Institute working to improve peer buddy programs in Kentucky, and a Teaching Assistantship within the psychology department. Sara earned her B.A. in Psychology at Miami University where she was a member of two research teams. Sara served as a school psychologist in the state of Indiana, and also has extensive experience working with children on the Autism Spectrum in the schools, and in their homes & communities. After being diagnosed with several rare conditions, Sara began to use the skills she learned as a school psychologist in order to connect with others in the rare disease space, learn all she could, and advocate for the rare disease community.
