I was the team leader for the leadership development team. We executed more than 160 leadership conferences and training events annually throughout the US and internationally. The leadership development team trains student leaders (about 20,000 per year) who lead state and chapter FFA programs and transfer learning through a peer-to-peer leadership model.

Throckmorton, Texas

I managed the operational activities for a 501(c)3 organization that sends American college graduates of agriculture to the developing world to teach agricultural education and support youth programs. We worked with several partners including 4-H Liberia and 4-H Ghana.

Indianapolis, Indiana Area

I managed and coached the six national FFA officers (college students charged with leading our organization). I was tasked with their training, coaching, and managing their activities. They each travel about 90,000 miles for 300 days out of the year delivering leadership training and working with high school students and FFA members. I was also responsible.

I managed the 10 state FFA officers, all college students, and several of our leadership programs including: Texas FFA Day at the Capitol, The Ford Leadership Scholars, Ethical Leadership Fellows Program, and our State Leadership Conference among a few other programs. I also managed the convention arena and delegate process.

Served on a 6th month project team in Iraq contracted with the U.S. Department of Defense (10th Mountain Div - US Army) through Texas A&M University. We were tasked with conducting agricultural assessments in Iraq and making recommendations to the U.S. military.
