I sold my mortgage broking/financial planning business, Blaze Wealth in October 2018 and needed to take some time out to rest, recuperate and challenge (nag?) my kids with their homework and chores.My wife and I did a little travel as well and managed to get back into Australia before the Covid craziness kicked into full panic in 2020. I had just rejoined the work force in financial services - choosing to join Australia’s largest insurer, IAG as a commercial claims consultant - and dealing with the heartache that was caused by the widespread bushfires across our great land. I’m now enjoying the role of CGU Broker Relationship Partner for Steadfast in Queensland and busy making many connections with some amazing and aspiring/inspiring brokers too!Some of my education qualifications include:I hold a Bachelors degree in Business from Queensland University of Technology (Advertising, Film and TV)A Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) from FINSIA,A Certificate IV in Financial Services (Mortgage Broking) from National Finance Institute,and a Diploma of Financial Services (Mortgage Broking Management) through Intellitrain.I also hold a PhD in "Hard Knocks"​ from the school of LIFE.(Nothing has more degrees than a thermometer and you stick that up your ... erm....)Looking forward to connecting with you to discuss how I might help you streamline and grow your portfolio with CGU.
