As our COO, I lead IT, HR, Administrative Services, Finance, Grant Coordination, Work Planning, Facilities and Fleet Management operations and shape strategy as a member of our Executive Team.As a result of process revamps, HR DEI initiatives tech automation and revamped grant management and reporting – we’ve ensured YOY regulatory compliance, secured increased funding and supported our contract’s expansion without increasing headcount. My operational leadership contributions have helped pave the way for the partnership to advance the area’s collective recovery effort, which to date has kept salmon populations steady, a species from getting delisted from the Endangered Species Act and much more.

I led operations and the team that licenses and monitors residential, commercial and agricultural pesticide, dairy nutrient management and fertilizer dissemination. Through business process improvement, agency-first tech automation and holding employees accountable to terms of collective bargaining agreements, we saved 1000+ manhours, reduced registration processing times from weeks to days and reduced our work backlog. I’m proud of the role I played in 2017 as the Management representative driving on-time negotiations with the Washington Public Employees Association (WPEA) Union, and of securing additional funding to expand training on pesticide application safety best practices and of the succession plans we put into place.The Washington State Department of Agriculture is regulated by the EPA.

I provided operational leadership for this 12-state Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) company of Crypto Intelligence Analysts and Linguists – which earned distinction as the sole Army Reserve group trusted by the National Security Agency (NSA) to support global intelligence production remotely. I led a team that oversaw administration, mission logistics and training operations, ensuring this 90-soldier company was trained and mission-ready with full knowledge retention and top language proficiency skills.

Overseeing operations for UC Berkeley’s Army ROTC program, I organized end-to-end program logistics – from recruiting to event and exercise planning. In an Adjunct Professor capacity, I revamped a Leadership Theory course and gained leadership buy-in for new syllabus and staffing structure.

I oversaw daily operations of this data center that housed intelligence data for the US Armed Forces – including coordination of production requirements and reporting, systems maintenance and administration.
