At Dixon Hughes Goodman, Jodi provides business planning and advisory services to her seniors housing and care clients across the country. In addition to preparing financial feasibility studies that assist clients accessing the capital markets, Jodi has extensive experience in developing and leading the preparation of financial forecasts and market demand analyses for clients in the early stages of project planning. She has participated as a member of numerous development teams, and has played an integral role in management and board planning activities for her clients. Jodi also provides consultative services to her clients responding to periods of economic stress as well as change-of-ownership situations, including management consulting reports for bond covenant compliance; analysis related to the acquisition of a distressed property; and recommendations for performance improvement.

Jodi was hired into the Healthcare Advisory Services Practice at BDO Seidman in January 1999, and held positions of increasing responsibilities in her eight years with the firm. As a result of her leadership and effective management, she was promoted to Director in May 2004. As Director, Jodi was responsible for providing strategic and financial planning services to clients in the long-term care and senior living industries. These services included planning, market analyses and financial feasibility studies for use in assessing the viability of development plans as well as for bond financings. Jodi worked with a variety of clients across the country ranging from small nursing to continuing care retirement communities.

Jodi served as an internal consultant to executive management, responsible for supporting efforts to establish and maintain community-based health partnership networks throughout the state. Jodi's involvement encompassed crafting business plans for the new entities and participating in negotiations with physician and hospital partners. Jodi also served as the Marketing Director for the company's physician-focused decision support software unit. She initiated, developed, and managed the unit's internet presence and was responsible for marketing activities. Jodi also served as a project manager, helping to build efficiencies and improve operational activities in several of the unit's departments.
