Led delivery on a £30m portfolio of maintenance and support service “PFI” contracts across Healthcare, Education and Defence sectors. This included critical social infrastructure such as; care homes, laboratories, firing ranges and medical theatres. I led a team of 540+ colleagues, including; senior managers, technical specialists and front-line colleagues. Reporting to the Divisional MD, I was responsible for the strategy, senior client and stakeholder relationships, commercial management, P&L and day-to-day operations. Each year we delivered c.£5m in lifecycle and project works - this ranged from installing or refurbishing M&E plant & equipment (autoclaves/boilers/AHUs) to project managing wholesale refurbishments within Grade II listed buildings.Services we provided included: engineering (planned and reactive); lifecycle and asset management; project management; front-line medical services; IT; specialist and domestic cleaning; security; equipment stores & logistics; firearms / armoury; laundry; waste; catering; helpdesk; procurement; space and energy optimization.

Leadership of a £12m portfolio of Operational and Maintenance contracts covering 180 Police facilities, including critical infrastructure and safety environments. This involved leadership of a team of 300+ colleagues, including technical specialists, and full ownership of the P&L. Mobilized new contracts, bringing operational focus and commercial management pre- and post contract commencement. Orchestrated a contract turnaround, delivered over 9 months which improved service and avoided a £5m forward loss. Worked in partnership with clients and investors to add value through identifying and delivering strategic projects including; energy efficiency, space optimization and asset management.

Led the operations workstream for a £26m contract extension. This encompassed a number of areas including: TUPE transfer, restructure of the contract management team, integration of new services and a restructure. Developed and implemented a strategic estate rationalisation programme, optimising space and generating additional project work.
