I am a librarian/tech enthusiast who understands the importance of technology in today’s world. I have the relevant certifications/skills to work as a Data Analyst. I’ve worked remotely with a small business as a data analyst intern for 6 months. While I interned I was able to make use of Google spreadsheet for analyzing data,to ask questions to make data driven decisions,to make use of SQL for big data,to visualize data with Tableau,how to effectively makes use of R programming. I was able to acquire the relevant skills to work efficiently as an Entry level Data Analyst.Later on,I plan on using these acquired digital skills to help with innovations that will help the Library space become better.

During the time of my internship, I acquired practical skills on Data Analytics and Digital Marketing. I carried out tasks and projects that gave me ample opportunities to learn. My position as a Deputy Coordinator at African Youth For Development Commission gave me the opportunity to work with youths who are passionate about making Nigeria better. I saw and worked with intelligent and innovative young people who were ready and passionate to do things the right way. During my tenure,with the help of my then Coordinator I organized an Environmental Initiative that focused on cleaning our immediate environment. We also visited Higher Institutions of Learning where we collaborated with student leaders on the right approach to improving the educational facilities in schools. I was a 300L student of the Department of Library and Information Science, University of Uyo when I was appointed as the Nigerian Library Association Chapter for Akwa Ibom State. For me it meant,I have been seen and evaluated as a good student especially since I was one of the top 5 in my class. My duty here was represent the association at the student level and that duty was carried out exceptionally well. I attended seminars and workshops regarding my course of study and I was awarded as one of the best Ambassadors in my institution of learning.
