I'm a tech enthusiast, this can be perfectly demonstrated by how I can easily find a technical solution to our everyday problems. Being raised in a household filled with broken electrical appliances and tools. I had an opportunity to experiment and gain expertise in Electrical Engineering to the point that I was repairing Microwaves, kettles and Amplifiers etc. at the age of 10. From primary school, I made projects that would end up being displayed in the principal's office and in Highschool, I attended several science fair competitions, such as the Eskom expo. Through these experiences, I learned how to do scientific research and creatively document my projects. Before my first year in University, I worked almost 10 jobs, part-time/during holidays. I worked for a carpet cleaning company, worked as a mechanic, worked at Education Connection (non profit), worked at a restaurant, worked at Simon's Electric as an assistant Technician etc. Due to these work experiences, I learned how to work with others, I learned how to be accountable and most importantly I learned to adopt to different environments. Besides my professional expertise, in Electrical Engineering, I have skills in graphics and design, programming (C, C++, C#, Python), web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, mySQL), Microsoft office, basic car servicing and project planning. I also have great leadership qualities that I demonstrated effectively when I was appointed as the Junior Mayor, of the Overberg District, by the Cape Agulhas Municiplacity in 2017.I can easily communicate with diverse people regardless of their age. I speak four different languages: Afrikaans, English, Xhosa and Shona.
