• Initiating the project, responsible for preparing the project charter in line with business and stakeholders needs, which includes the project management plan (PMP), cost estimates for the financial justification.• Responsible for writing technical specifications and overseeing production of conceptual drawings, preliminary design, scope of Work, Work Breakdown Structure, general specification, milestone identification and planning (macro-level). • Responsible to review the design engineering activities and specifications of all piping design, according to the requirements of the project, carried out by Vendors/ Subcontractors in all areas within according to national and international Codes and Standards.• Assist in contract management and contract administration that include handling variation claims/change orders• Involved in project estimation and proposal submittals for piping and steel structure fabrication and erection.• Oversees the procurement and fabrication of the piping materials, to ensure the schedule, cost and quality standards are being met sufficiently with the shut-down activities and normal construction execution.• Reviews and assists Quality Assurance/Quality Control for any required tests and inspection of the piping fabrication and installation.• Monitor field construction technicians during fabrication and erection activities, providing field engineering expertise on any installation problems.• Attend meeting periodically with top management and end users to discuss project progress and other requirements.• Identifying ongoing project risks and assigning and mitigating risks.• Reporting project status at progress meetings.• Ensuring all resources (manpower and materials), are provided as per the scheduled plan,meet all KPIs on time and within budget
