In my first 3 months I introduced a new chart of accounts, a company wide dashboard and management accounts encompassing product, plant and retail shops performance evaluation. I was part of the business development and management committee. I chaired a project team which implemented a new retail accounting system straight from manual invoicing and implementation of Pastel evolution accounting system.

I joined Romsdal Investments t/a Tarafern Cotton /Triangle Ginnery as a cost and management accountant responsible for contract farming , agro processing costing and management accounting. I ended up assuming duties of the Head office accountant following a restructuring exercise.

I trained as a Management trainee for 10 months before being appointed Assistant Financial Accountant for Northern Region leading staff of 7 people reporting directly to me.
