I have applied my academic knowledge in various professional roles, including as a Lead Graduate Assistant of the Department of Health Sciences and Social Work, Western Illinois University, where I oversaw the training and performance of graduate assistants. My hands-on experience as a Community Health Worker at the Cass County Health Department allowed me to implement health programs, tailor health education to diverse audiences, and screen clients for social determinants of health issues.
