Responsibilities:-Gathering and researching information for news stories-Writing and editing news articles-Interviewing sources and conducting investigations-Attending events and covering live news stories-Using social media and other online tools to gather and share information-Collaborating with other reporters and editors to develop and produce news content-Staying up-to-date on current events and trends in the media industry-Developing and implementing the organization's communication strategy-Serving as a spokesperson for the organization and representing it to the media and the public-Establishing and maintaining relationships with media outlets and other key stakeholders-Managing the organization's public image and reputation-Developing and distributing press releases and other marketing materials-Managing the organization's social media accounts and website-Overseeing internal communication within the organization, including email and company-wide announcements-Coordinating events and public speaking engagements-Providing guidance and support to other team members on communication-related matters-Monitoring and analyzing media coverage and public perception of the organization-Assisting in crisis management and damage control efforts as needed
