Mini BiographyI am Ildefonso (Johnny) Araneda AKA Blind sight I am a well respected Socially conscious Hip-hop artist who has used my talents and skills to get to where I am now, working as a social worker and impacting our community in a major way!.There is no greater feeling than people recognising your skills as an ambitious life changer, my passion comes from my history and why I am here in this wonderful country of opportunity. Originally from Chile, we were exiled in 1985 in that time my father was tortured by the military for speaking about freedom and equality; my father was part of Che Guevara’s movement in South America. This explains my foundations of who I am as a person, from using my musical talents as a HIP-HOP artist to working with youth in prisons for over three years to working with the homeless. I have had a journey of opportunity with many doors opening for me, now I am making changes in our mental health system through the Partners in recovery program which bridges people to the right services that they need for a successful recovery and to stop many of our venerable people falling through the gaps. I wear many hats in this community from an artist to a youth mentor and motivational speaker to a passionate social worker; I know where I came from and I know where I am going!!! My aim is to impact as many lives as I can in a positive way before I make my way home. Specialties: working with all people who have a heart to change lives in a positive way.
