Co-founded, managed and grew a successful toy brand focused on plush speciality toys for 13 years. Managed the design, product marketing, brand development, production, employee hiring, team development, sales and finances. Key Achievements:- Successfully grew Monster Factory from an art project into a 13 year operation which ultimately joint-ventured with 9 Story Media Group, Canada's largest independent animation distributor. - Pitched, presented and successfully sold to over 250 specialty retail stores across North America such as AGO, Takashimaya, Toy Tokyo, Chapters Indigo, and Urban Outfitters (USA).- Successfully led a Kickstarter campaign which raised 347% of its funding goal. - Design work was featured in People Magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine, Glamour, US Weekly, Esquire and Time Magazine.- Exhibitor at the One of a Kind Show (one of the largest and best-attended craft shows in North America) for 8 years.
