I have total of 14+ years of professional experience as a radiographer doing various diagnostic procedures. Currently I am working in one of biggest trauma and orthopedic hospitals here in Oman doing general radiographic procedures including plain thoracic and skeletal x-rays including whole spine for scoliosis and full lower limb.I am also responding to calls for bedside x-rays in A&E, ICU and high dependency unit. Assisting surgeons with the use of C-arm for operating theater procedures like Intramedulary nailing, orthopedic fixations, dynamic hip screw and spine case like scoliosis correction, spine pedicle screw and kyphoplasty.I was also trained in Cath Lab and working mainly with neuro interventional radiologist doing procedures like diagnostic cerebral angiogram, aneurysm coiling, arteriovenous malformation embolization, and embolectomy for stroke patients.Other interventional procedures i have assisted are sclerotherapy, spinal nerve block, IVC filter retrieval, hip and shoulder arthrogram and Radiofrequency ablation(RFA)Early in my career, I joined St. Luke's Medical Center - Global City which is a Joint Commission International Accredited and one of the biggest hospitals in the Philippines. Here they provided me trainings including Basic Life Support, Hospital waste management, fire evacuation drill and patient evacuation training, personal effectiveness program, and customer service champion training. During my employment, I performed plain radiographic procedures, oral contrast studies, Barium enema for large bowel, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography(ERCP), orthopantomogram (OPG) and c-arm assisted operating theater procedures.In addition, I have IT background and well versed with the use of PACS and RIS as it is an essential part of the radiology and hospital system for smooth and continuous healthcare delivery. Part of my PACS experience includes resolving issue regarding images that are unable to retrieve due to patient record incompatibility.
