Employed as an automation engineer focusing on projects involving bulk handling sites in the lower mainland. Here is one finished project I was a key member of, and another that I am currently:Pacific Coast Terminals - Potash Facilities Project> PLC programming and HMI design for the new facilities, including railcar dumper automation, conveyance systems, stacker reclaimer control, dust collection system control, and integration of these new new systems and new PLCs with the existing plant PLCs.> CAD drafting of various electrical and instrumentation installations across site, including updates to existing installations and new ones.> Met with clients and site personnel regularly for project coordination and to ensure project growth continues and in a direction all were satisfied.> Coordinated closely between clients/site and off-site partners to ensure that work was done properly and without causing unnecessary delays despite the major time zone difference between parties.> Trained enCompass personnel, site personnel, and operator union trainers on new potash handling HMI system> Devised and pushed new documentation templates for ESG. Some of which are still in use, or form the basis of the technical documentation templates in use today.> Written a large amount of documentation for the new facilities including: multiple control narratives, QAQC and testing documentation, turnover documentation packages, system troubleshooting guides, and operator training materials.> Was a key member of the enCompass team to drive through from initial programming, testing, commissioning, and handling site-support for the new potash handling facility during the initial operating years.Westshore Terminals New Potash Export> Key member of the technical documentation/writing for ESG.> Electrical design and drawing drafting.> Assisting interfacing with the client> Senior member of the ESG team, always striving to ensure team morale is high.
