- Directed all aspects of Travers, to shape the brand identity and reconnect with its traditional roots. Travers is the American brand under European parent company Zimmer + Rohde. With my expertise in the US market, I.
- Designed and launched annual fabric and trim collections from conception to market, and presented edited selections for each stage of collection development. Each collection was designed to highlight all residential.
- Created all initial collection concepts using archival documents, trend research and sales feedback to develop each collection story. Analyzed best sellers to target patterns in design and color to influence future.
- Responsible for all aspects of product and design, meeting with suppliers to select qualities and assign original artwork and archival designs to specific mills for trial and development. This included articulating.
- Developed color stories, and specified color direction for all Travers fabrics and trims. This included creating and editing color ranges for solids and textures as well as using industry software to create multicolor.
- Produced all collection photoshoots, capturing the spirit of each collection to style the fabrics across a variety of rooms, specifically catered to the American market.
Senior Designer
- Responsible for the execution of multiple collections which represent many design themes and targeted categories including printed fabrics, jacquards, cut velvets, embroideries, trims/tapes, wallcovering, and outdoor.
- Print Design: Oversaw and executed the development of prints from conception through approval, including creating original layouts, modifying purchased/reserved artwork, analyzing screen separations, writing engraving.
- Woven Design: Selected suitable woven qualities and constructions for original layout and artwork, provided mills with direction for color blanketing and custom color direction for trialing, responsible for narrowing.
- Wallcovering: Responsible for the development of varying types of wallcoverings. This included large scale panel designs, printed grasscloths, high performance vinyl and traditional rotary and hand printed designs.
- Tapes and Trims: Strong focus on expanding trim and tape portfolio, experimenting with embroidered and embellished designs to develop new techniques.
- Collaborations: Worked closely with licensors to create cohesive collections, incorporating different design aesthetics while maintaining brand focus.
