About Carolina Blom
Dedication, curiosity, and a passion for learning and Psychology are fundamental aspects that define my professional approach.I pursued my studies in Clinical and Health Psychology at the Faculty of Education and Psychology of the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto. There, my initial focus was on cognitive-behavioral approaches. As a psychology trainee and later as a practicing psychologist, I gained valuable experience working with diverse populations, including older adults, adults, university students, teenagers, and children. Interacting with individuals from such distinct life stages honed my adaptive skills and enabled me to explore various intervention approaches, encompassing humanistic and systemic psychology, among others.Currently, I am enrolled in the Doctoral Program in Psychology at the Faculty of Psychology and Education Sciences of the University of Porto. My primary objective is to deepen my theoretical understanding of informal cancer care and enhance my research skills.Concurrently, I continue to engage in online and in-person clinical psychology practice with adults in Porto.
