Working with frog oocytes that contain epilepsy wild type and mutation and testing them through sodium ion channels to observe the action potentials of the membrane using an electrophysiology rig.

Working in Dr. Evilia's lab with Halophiles and culturing them to prepare them for further experimentation. Experienced in using pipette, micropipette, weighing samples, glassware, centrifuge, and sterilizing techniques. Electrophoresis techniques to analyze cultures.Researching and pulling primers from academic papers, using MEGA/Muscle program to look at how primers line up.The current project is on how halophiles grow in different conditions such as light or dark.

Molecular Self-assembly of Macromolecules in Additively Manufactured Organic Semiconductors: Working on computational molecular simulations to determine the number of entanglements within a polymer chain vary as variables change for aerospace manufacturing applications. Attended the 7th i-CoMSE.Attended and presented research in poster session at ICUR 2024.
