As the global program manager of our relationship with AnitaB.org, I created our strategy and managed our multimillion dollar presence at the Grace Hopper Celebration for women in computing in 2018, 2019, and in 2020 (virtually), coordinating teams across Google ranging from staffing/recruiting, marketing, the diversity team, employee engagement, and activations from a wide assortment of our products including YouTube, Google Cloud, & Search. Additionally, I’ve partnered with Asia-Pacific based teams in creating Google’s onsite presence at the Grace Hopper India conference as well as with other internal teams in funding AnitaB.org’s inaugural Grace Hopper EMEA celebrationDeveloped strong partnerships with leaders of various orgs including AnitaB.org & the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE), as well as with industry colleagues at other companies. Dedicating 20% of my time away from my core responsibilities, I managed one of Google’s newest social accounts at the time, @WomenTechmakers by creating daily content via a content calendar, leveraging partnerships with other women in tech orgs, and collaborating with some of Google’s largest social accounts, which produced a 10x growth in followers. Additionally, I developed a social strategy for Women Techmakers’ marquee event, the International Women’s Day series, generating over 93M impressions

As the operations Specialist for the TFA Oklahoma region, I created systems, structures, and project plans to ensure the smooth operation of our region of 440+ corps members and staff. During my time here I oversaw our non-payroll budget, created and executed a strategy for our staff to matriculate 230 new teachers (surpassing national matriculation rates each deadline), and planned and executed two, week-long welcome experiences for new teachers that occurred concurrently in two different cities.Developed weekly regional communication with our 300+ teachers and created a more streamlined system of maintaining and sharing information Coordinated and executed logistics of region-wide events including winter celebrations and regional summits for approximately 400 attendeesMaintained and created content for social media, establishing TFA Oklahoma as the region with the highest number of followersCompleted monthly expense reports for the Director of Operations and trained all new staff members on expense report submissions and financial guidelines

Onboarded, transitioned, and supported the Director of Institute Operations in managing the six operations directors and 25 college interns by collecting data across ops systems, planning and co-leading meetings, and restructuring and delivering professional development for the interns with the introduction of Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion training

Responsible for the creation of daily communications to the ~800 Teach For America new corps members and staff at the inaugural Tulsa Institute summer training as well as informational materials, branded marketing materials, and signage. I also managed, coached, and developed two college interns.

In my two years in the classroom as a Teach For America corps member, I instructed ~150 eighth grade students in remedial math, pre-algebra, and algebra standards at Clinton Middle School, which is a title I school with 100% of students on a free/reduced lunch program.
