With over 13 years of experience in the criminal justice field, I am a program specialist I at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, where I assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs and policies related to offender management and rehabilitation. I have a strong background in enforcement, law enforcement, 911 operations, dispatching, jail operations, and campus safety, as well as bilingual communication skills in Spanish. I hold a Jailer License, a Telecommunications Operator License, and a CPR Basic Cardiac Life Support certification, all issued by relevant authorities in Texas. I have a BA and a working MA in criminal justice and corrections from St. Edward's University, where I also served as a campus safety officer for four and a half years.
