I was theprimary developer, but I used it as an opportunity to train one of my team in Python programmingand unsupervised machine learning. Our client needed to optimize selection of sites for sampling. Theinspector needed an efficient route, but there were several additional criteria and optimization targets. Iused Python, Pandas and Folium to accomplish the task. I accepted site lists in CSV format and outputnew optimized routes using Scikit-learn clustering techniques to accomplish the optimization and Foliumto generate HTML map-based visualizations.
