Manage a caseload - handle insurance defense litigation matters for corporate clients from inception to resolution. Attend Court appearances to argue discovery and procedural motions; Prepare a variety of legal pleadings, including but not limited to Motions for Summary Judgment, Oppositions, Replies, Cross-Motions for Summary Judgment, Motions to Strike and Preclude.

Provide consulting services regarding the drafting and negotiating of motion picture production agreements including but not limited to operating, artist/talent, sales agency, writer, director, producer, and E & O insurance agreements. In addition, provided consulting services to the producer's General Counsel regarding the meaning and consequence(s) of specific contractual language. Provided best business judgment on industry issues, custom and practice.

Legal research and writing: I perform legal research and writing duties on pressing legal issues critical to the firm's motion practice in the mass torts unit.Formation of: a bank of trial and deposition transcripts arising from the firm's cases, policy and procedure manuals, and assembled a compilation of documents critical to the nursing home negligence unit. Performed an analysis of and generated a written summary of the New York State and Federal multipart regulations under 10 N.Y.C.R.R. and the Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act of 1987 (OBRA), respectively. Reviewed a document production relating to a course of events that occurred at a defendant nursing home and produced a synthesis of the materials.

Drafted and negotiated film distribution agreements. In addition, I worked with a variety of inter-party agreements common to the entertainment industry including but not limited to Master License, Sales Agency, CAM, NOA, Music Publishing, and Producer’s Rights Agreements. I became well versed in contractual language and the intricacies involved in drafting and negotiating contract terms, including the articulation of arguments for and against editing contractual language. Moreover, I participated in the approval and clearance process of key art as well as the review of chain of title documentation. Lastly, I coordinated, initiated, and managed IFTA arbitration proceedings.
