Started working in information technology / business informatics after finishing my degree. Since 2015, I have been focusing almost exclusively on information security. And oh boy - what a broad field. Most of my time was spent in information security management roles. But there is always a need to audit and validate management systems, or at least parts of them, to understand how things currently look. After all, you need to know where you are and where you want to go. Otherwise, don't be surprised if you end up where you never wanted to be. Later, I finally tackled some certifications that I had wanted to do for some time. But I guess we were all interrupted at some point by some certain global event that created a bit of a mess. Luck was on my side and I came across good trainers and trainings that helped enriching my knowledge and thinking. Membership in specialized organizations for professionals in the field of information systems went hand in hand with these certifications. Once again, a wide world of knowledge and networking with others with the same interests opened up.I quite enjoy coffee, so here is my bold statement about it: "Espresso is good coffee. Latte-mocha-cinnamon-syrup-...-chinos? I am really not sure." In addition to coffee, a good laugh is never to be despised. A nice quote related to humor:"The most difficult character in comedy is that of the fool, and he must be no simpleton that plays the part."
