Led the investor relations and corporate communications functions remotely for a pre and then post-IPO clinical stage life sciences company. Responsibilities included company contact for analysts and investors; drafting and issuing of company press releases; working with investment bankers and counsel drafting prospectuses; investor road shows and sector analyst conferences; design and implementation of corporate investor relations website; and interfacing with vendors including transfer agencies, news wire services and document filing and compliance providers.

Core member of team that successfully brought to market the largest Canadian initial public offering in more than 15 years. Created from scratch and led the award winning Investor Relations function at what is one of North America's largest pure play electric power transmission and distribution utilities with an equity market cap of $20 billion.

Investor Relations Officer of an award-winning cross-border Investor Relations program for TSX and NYSE listed +$30 billion equity market cap enterprise comprised of Canada’s largest wireless communications provider, largest cable television operator, and an extensive portfolio of media and sports entertainment businesses. 480 percent total shareholder return from when appointed to lead Investor Relations function. Served under three CEO’s and CFO’s during tenure.

Investor Relations Officer and corporate spokesperson responsible for managing MetroNet’s relationships with institutional shareowners, bondholders, analysts, credit rating agencies, financial media and business reporters during rapid growth from $5 million to over $1 billion per year in sales. Developed and led award winning cross-border Investor Relations program following IPO, and was core team member for ten successful public equity and debt financings totaling +$3 billion and two of the largest telecom M&A transactions in Canadian history. Greater than 500 percent stock price appreciation from IPO to sale of company to AT&T for +$5 billion.

Managed US WEST’s relationships with institutional shareowners, equity research analysts, bondholders and industry analysts, and served as corporate spokesperson with external financial audiences through and following $30 billion target stock recapitalization.

Served as Chief Financial Officer to Colorado and Wyoming state CEOs with responsibility for financial and regulatory matters including development of long-range financial and strategic plans, forecasting and serving as expert witness on financial and accounting matters before state and federal telecom and media regulatory commissions.

Served in multiple financial reporting, corporate accounting, FP&A, business development and executive compensation roles as part of Finance Management Development Program.
