I am a motivated individual with a keen interest in discovering new ways to employ existing technologies to design cutting-edge software. I also enjoy learning new technologies to streamline software development in the constantly evolving industry of Information Technology.Recently completed BSc Information and Knowledge Systems at the University of Pretoria with an elective focus on GIS. My final year project focused on using the Agile methodology to design and deploy a web application using the Angular framework where I worked on the front end UX and connections to backend through Apollo GraphQL. I did a Gap Year at Quest Africa in the Eastern Cape which exposed me to various experiences including adventure based challenges and a variety of practical life skills. This included many team building exercises, adventure racing, a week survival and the opportunity to get both a Day Skipper in Sailing as well as Advanced level scuba diving licenses.
