Develop a test automation framework based on JavaScript/Node.JS/Protractor/Jasmine

- Develop automated scripts for an in-house BDD test framework, based on Groovy and Spock for backend testing- Started creating an automated testing framework written in Java, based on Selenium Webdriver and Cucumber for front-end testing of an Angular Single-Page Application. The framework foundation was already developed, I have adapted and extended it to match the project requirements.- Perform manual functional and regresison testing in an agile environment

They have acquired and integrated the UK-based Play.com into a global Rakuten marketplace. PayU Romania is an eCommerce integrator, leader on the Romanian online payments market. It offers integrated solutions, including: an online payment system, an advanced antifraud sytem, sales and marketing tools, a secure transaction environment certified by international entities like 3D Secure or Thawte.Responsibilities:- design and integrate the QA process into the company's Development process- building test cases based on the requirements and design documents;- create an automation testing strategy and investigate the use of various open-source test tools: Selenium, HTMLUnit, jWebUnit, jUnit, TestMaker, Eclipse TPTP- execute manual test cases; types of tests performed: functional, black-box, regression, smoke testing.Main accomplishments:- implemented an effective test process, including test procedures and reporting- started implementing an automation testing framework based on Selenium and jUnit

Integrator is a product which enables companies to integrate, process and share data from various sources, in any EDI format (like EDIFACT, X12, in-house formats), across platforms (Windows, UNIX, zOS, AS400), protocols (FTP, HTTP, SMTP) or applications (ERPs, WebServices-enabled products). Responsibilities:-managed the Romanian testing team for the Integrator product.- managed a second testing team in India, starting March 2009.- managed patches lifecycle (patch build, testing, publishing and support) across multiple Integrator versions and platforms. Main accomplishments:- implemented an effective test strategy, including test procedures and reporting- designed and implemented a new test lab, based on Vmware virtualization solutions- ncreased the coverage of the automatic tests by 300% in 1.5 years- designed an automatic, Eclipse-based test tool - improved the QA knowledge of my junior colleagues by training/coaching/mentoring activities- established an excellent work relationship with other branches of the company (Sweden, France and India) on the testing side

Projects I was involved in:1. Nebula - a Version Control and Configuration Management system, that stores and manages all the artifacts contained in an IT system, independent of development tools, technology or platform.Responsibilities:- team leader responsibilities: reporting the team progress to the QA manager, provide training and assistance for the team members, establish and maintain a good communication with the development team. The QA team allocated for this project had 2 or 3 people.- review and analyze the project design and requirements documents - create the test plans and test cases based on existing documentation- create an automation testing strategy (design and requirements for the Automation team) and - - - investigate the use of TestComplete as the automation solution- execute manual test cases; types of tests performed: functional, black-box, regression, smoke testing.2.
