I lead teams to build products, accelerate startups by advising on product problems, and make investments in early-stage ventures.I was formerly a Product Director at Meetup/WeWork, leading the core Meetup experience for members and organizers. Before that, I was Director of Product Management for the consumer, search, data platform and business intelligence teams at Compass, a technology-driven real estate platform. I also led the client experience team at Wealthfront, an automated financial advisor, responsible for performance/transaction reporting, asset allocation, account funding, tax, compliance, etc. Quite serendipitously, I got started in product management at LinkedIn during the heyday of social; I led product for LinkedIn's Identity team and had the chance to work with some amazing product folks like Adam Nash, Deep Nishar, and Reid Hoffman. My notable products include: the core LinkedIn Profile, Search, People You May Know, Who Viewed Your Profile, and social graph. The IPO run was a wild ride.Prior to LinkedIn, I graduated from Harvard Business School with an MBA, mid-pivot into tech PM from management consulting - after a close call with i-banking. At HBS, I took as many startup, innovation, and finance courses as they'd allow and led the annual HBS Finance Conference. Before b-school, I traveled the world - and Arkansas - helping clients with corporate strategy, revenue management and supply chain strategy at Deloitte Consulting. I still have a lot of Delta Sky Miles. My first exposures to tech were while building package tracking apps at UPS and doing what I only much later identified as product management for GE Power. The irony is not lost on me.I earned a BS in Computer Science / Finance from Georgia Tech, where I was a President's Scholar and Coca-Cola Scholar.I drink excessive amounts of Diet Coke.
