I am a Mechanical Engineer from the University of Aveiro with a diverse range of practical experiences gained through multiple internships and leadership roles. Currently, I am one of the founders of Vulkan Additive Solutions, working to push innovation in MedTech and Additive Manufacture.Previously, as an intern at Renault Cacia for the Digital Boost project, I evaluated information systems across factory departments, led a team in data collection, and assessed the financial viability of implementing Industry 4.0 systems. My work culminated in the presentation of findings and proposals to the company's board.As the Design Team Leader for AutoMec UAV, an academic team, I led the design and production of UAVs for humanitarian missions, directed CAD design, performed FEA analysis, and managed logistics for international competition participation, earning recognition from the Institute of Mechanical Engineers as the Most Promising Team.In another summer internship at Palbit, I immersed myself in manufacturing operations, interviewing operators to document workflows and optimize operations, leading to the elimination of undocumented procedures.
