Smart City/Community Consultants - We have been asked to join the UK Governments' panel of experts on Smart Cities and are working closely with the Knowledge Transfer Network on a proposal for a connected cities framework. We recently were invited to meet with representatives of the South Korean Government to deliver a report on the UK/Korean opportunities in the Smart City space.We have also developed a turnkey strategy for Smart Communities focused upon social impact, looking at how we build the Business Architecture, the Data Architecture, the Application Architecture, and the Infrastructure Architecture into a coherent and transferable Enterprise Architecture for a Smarter Society.We have recently been awarded Government funding to start the process of building our platform and the first pillar of this is connecting the relationships up, within a smart ecosystem. This in turn has allowed us to build into our model, an ability to measure social impact in real-time using validated data sources.We have also been working with BSI on the development of the new Standard BS 8950 - 'Guide to Enhancing Social Value'. We have also worked closely with the Cabinet Office to develop further the measurement methodology to support Social Value at Procurement Stages.As a result of this work both Data Performance Consultancy and Liverpool City Council were shortlisted for National Awards at the Inaugural Social Value Awards run by the Cabinet Office
